The CBAH Diversity and Inclusion Committee facilitates the Firm’s ongoing and continued efforts to foster a culture where diversity, equity, and inclusion are respected and valued.
The Committee focuses on creating an empowering and welcoming workplace culture by recruiting and retaining a workforce that reflects the backgrounds and composition of our extended community. We are committed to recruiting talented individuals at all levels from varied backgrounds who bring with them a broad array of experiences, ideas and perspectives which will allow us to better serve our clients.
The Committee sets priorities and provide guidance to CBAH in the design and implementation of a wide range of programs, practices, and resource utilization to help the Firm further diversify within and to create a more inclusive environment for both our current and future employees. With a strong focus on our talent, culture and community, the Committee provides opportunities internally and externally to ensure that the contributions of every individual are respected and that all voices are heard.
The Committee actively encourages all CBAH employees and members to participate in and contribute to community-based programs and activities that foster an environment which encourages and covets new and different perspectives and ideas in community service, professional development for all, retention of talent, professional advancement and growth within.
Through these efforts, we cultivate an atmosphere of excellence, appreciation, cohesion, and inclusion.
Our Firm also participates in the Long Island Legal Diversity Fellowship Program, whereas each year a 1L law student is given the opportunity to join our Firm as a summer fellow.
Our goal is to give our fellows a unique opportunity to learn about several areas of law, which includes a rotation through our legal departments.
