The Commercial Real Estate/Land Use Department is currently seeking an associate with 0-3 years of experience.
Position will entail 1) land use and zoning approvals (preparation of applications to various municipalities, due diligence and attendance at hearings) and 2) acquisitions and sales of residential and commercial real property (preparation and negotiation of contracts, title review, perform due diligence, conduct closings). Ideal candidate must be independent, hard-working and have strong academic credentials.

The Commercial Lending Group is seeking a full-time legal assistant/paralegal. This group is responsible for drafting and reviewing commercial loan documents, as well as collection and review of title work, insurance and organizational documents, lease agreements, etc.
The position consists of both paralegal and secretarial duties. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, the willingness to develop the skills necessary to become a senior paralegal, and will be exposed to significant client contact.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- The candidate must be organized, detail oriented, able to meet deadlines and multi-task and available to work occasional overtime.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills with the ability to effectively interact via telephone, e-mail and in person with clients, attorneys, title companies, insurance companies, etc.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
- General real estate experience a plus.
