Ms. Turetsky concentrates her practice on trust and estate administration, elder law, estate planning, special needs planning and guardianships. Ms. Turetsky has been appointed numerous times to serve as Guardian Ad Litem through the Surrogate’s Court. In her elder law practice, Ms. Turetsky counsels seniors and their families. She assists these clients in the preservation of assets in the face of possible long-term care needs. She is also experienced in Medicaid and Special Needs Planning, and prepares applications for both home care and nursing home care.
Ms. Turetsky earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami, a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
Ms. Turestky was named to the Best Lawyers list in 2022. In 2021, she was named one of Nassau County’s Women of Distinction by Blank Slate Media. In 2016, the Center for Children, Families and the Law at Hofstra University School of Law selected her as one of its Top Women in Law.
