East Meadow, NY — JiaJun Shan has joined the Corporate/Securities Group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP as an Associate.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Shan was a US CBP Customs Compliance Consultant at SmarTech Consulting LLC in Woodmere, a company which he co-founded. The company developed and instituted a cloud infrastructure for the CBP Customs Brokerage system that provides for the most reliable and current functions in the market.
He also founded Winner Enterprise Inc. where he worked as a real estate developer and managed several portfolios on Long Island and in New York City, Rochester, New Jersey and overseas.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2023 and his Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Business and Computer Science from Wake Forest University School of Business.
After his graduation, Mr. Shan was a Senior Software Engineer at Apex Logistics International in Manhattan for three years. He developed and implemented various cutting edge cloud systems across multiple branch offices in the United States and China.
He is fluent in Chinese and Shanghainese and holds a Customs Broker License.
He is admitted to practice in the state of New York and the United States Tax Court.
