Certilman Balin’s Corporate Group Advises on Strategic Business-Combination for Long Island Waste Services

Certilman Balin proudly announces that its Corporate Practice Group has successfully advised and served as counsel to Long Island Waste Services (“LIWS”) in its recent transaction resulting in the combination of LIWS with National Waste Services (“NWS”) creating a market-leading waste-management platform on Long Island.

Under the transaction, LIWS (founded 2020) and NWS (founded 2001) will operate under both names in Nassau and Suffolk counties, bringing together complimentary capabilities in commercial, residential, municipal and construction waste and recycling services. Certilman Balin has served as counsel to LIWS since its inception.
