Certilman Balin is pleased to announce that Michael Lieberman has joined the firm as an Associate in its Litigation Practice Group.
Mr. Lieberman focuses his practice on a broad range of commercial litigation matters and brings valuable experience from several respected Long Island law firms, along with additional exposure to criminal litigation and trial practice. His experience includes legal research, complex legal analysis, drafting, discovery preparation, and trial-related matters.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Lieberman also worked closely with Assistant District Attorneys in the Major Crime Bureau, gaining hands-on exposure to felony trials and court proceedings and assisting with trial preparation and discovery.
Mr. Lieberman earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2023, where he served as a Senior Staffer on the Touro Law Review and held leadership roles within the Student Bar Association. He earned his B.S. in Business Economics, with a concentration in Finance, from SUNY Oneonta in 2018.
