Trust & Estate Litigation
The Trust and Estate Litigation Department represents beneficiaries, trustees, executors, and other interested parties in contested trust and estate and guardianship proceedings. We handle all aspects of litigation in the Surrogate’s and Supreme Court and the Appellate Departments, and equally pursue alternative approaches intended to avoid the cost, delay, and uncertainty of judicial intervention.
The lawyers who handle this work also receive appointments from the Judges in Surrogate’s and Supreme Courts on Long Island and New York City to serve as Guardians and Litem for minors, disabled or unknown parties, and Court Evaluators to make recommendations to the Court. We provide comprehensive Trust & Estate litigation services throughout New York.
