Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP’s Condo/Coop and Litigation Partner Donna-Marie Korth has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Mattone Family Institute at her alma mater, St. John’s University School of Law.
Ms. Korth handles the regulatory and compliance work for residential and commercial developments, and also litigates all aspects of commercial and real estate law, including banking and commercial foreclosure, and handles lending workouts.
She served as Dean of the Nassau Academy of Law, and continues to moderate and lecture Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars.
Ms. Korth earned her undergraduate degree in accounting from St. John’s University, magna cum, laude, and then graduated from its School of Law with honors. She is an Adjunct Professor of Law at her alma mater.
She is admitted to practice in New York State and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
In addition to the Nassau County Bar Association, she is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is a member of various sections including Cooperative and Condominiums, Commercial and Federal Litigation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
