On September 22 at Eisenhower Park, our Partner Donna-Marie Korth and her nephew James Korth walked to support Cancer Center for Kids at NYU Winthrop Hospital. At One World Observatory at the World Trade Center, our Banking and Commercial Lending Partners Heather Gauweiler and Kristen Traganas at a Benefit for Bonei Olam, hosted by Meridian Capital Group. Bonei Olam provides large-scale funding for fertility treatment and research. David Herold, Ken Hoffmann and Karen Nora also attended the event. “From up that high, it was a spectacular view of the city!” said Kristen. Rebecca Brodsky, an associate in our Real Estate Group, and her husband Lee served as chairs of UJA Summerfest. Approximately $2 million was raised. Held on Thursday August 10th at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury, over 1,400 people enjoyed a fabulous summer-evening cocktail party, with a private concert by singer/songwriter, Gavin DeGraw, and an after-party with a live band. The Robert S. Boas Award was given to Gayle Berg, Ph.D. and she was honored for her philanthropic and community leadership.
