Certilman Balin has been named to New York State’s 2023 Corporate Mentoring Honor Roll. This appointment comes as a result of Certilman Balin’s investment in quality youth mentoring.
We are in our 18th year of mentoring through the Lawyers Involved in Kids’ Education (LIKE) Program. Every Wednesday, 15 of our lawyers and staff members spend a lunch hour with 4th and 5th graders from Walnut Elementary School. Mentors help their mentees with literacy skills and each offers a listening ear. Our Corporate/Securities Partner Fred Skolnik, Co-Chair of the LIKE Program, says that it is his favorite hour of the week.
