Rebecca D. Surujnarain

Rebecca D. Surujnarain is an Associate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group at the our Hauppauge office, where she represents clients in a broad range of residential and commercial real estate matters.

Her practice includes the drafting and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, review of title and loan documents, and coordination of all aspects of real estate closings. She regularly works with purchasers, sellers, and lenders, guiding transactions from contract through closing and ensuring that all legal and logistical components are handled efficiently.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Surujnarain was an associate at a boutique real estate law firm, where she gained hands-on experience managing real estate transactions and advising clients on title, financing, and closing matters. Earlier in her career, she spent several years working for a title company, where she prepared for and oversaw real estate closings, giving her a comprehensive, practical understanding of the transactional process from both the legal and title perspectives.

She earned her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2021. She was a recipient of a Merit Scholarship, a Faculty Recognition Award for Academic Excellence in Trust and Estates, and a CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Real Estate Transactions and American Legal Studies Practicum. She also completed a legal internship. In 2012, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in English from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

Ms. Surujnarain has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America: “Ones to Watch” since 2026. She is also admitted to practice in the state of New York.
