Lynda J. Goldfarb is a Partner and a Co-Chair of our Healthcare Practice Group and also practices in our Corporate/Securities, Labor Relations and Employment, Trusts & Estates, and Litigation Practice Groups. Her broad experience enables her to counsel clients on a wide range of personal, business, and legal matters.
Individual healthcare providers and medical, dental and other healthcare practices (as well as non-healthcare businesses), rely on Ms. Goldfarb’s guidance concerning employment matters (as employers and employees), acquisitions and sales, regulatory issues, management arrangements, partner relations, and general business matters and governance. In connection with such counsel, she drafts and negotiates employment and independent contractor agreements, operating and shareholder agreements, purchase and sale agreements, management agreements, license agreements, and real estate agreements.
As a litigator, Ms. Goldfarb handles a variety of estate litigation and administration proceedings, guardianship proceedings, and commercial litigation matters. She is experienced in drafting pleadings and motions, appearing in court, conducting discoveries, and negotiating settlements (even as a litigator, Ms. Goldfarb believes it is always better to resolve matters if possible).
Her trust and estates practice includes probate and intestacy proceedings and assisting clients with estate administration matters and estate planning. Ms. Goldfarb also assists clients with matters involving the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
Ms. Goldfarb earned her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law. She received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
