CB Kenneth Hoffman

Mr. Hoffmann is a Partner in our Banking and Commercial Lending Practice Groups. He represents financial institutions and businesses in the areas of commercial lending, complex real estate transactions and asset-based financings.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Hoffmann has represented various lenders and borrowers in a wide array of commercial matters, including revolving credit and term loan facilities, letter of credit transactions, mortgage loans (both permanent and construction financings), leasehold mortgages, and interest rate swap transactions. He has significant experience documenting credit facilities to middle market borrowers in the contractor, health care, not-for-profit and restaurant industries.

Mr. Hoffmann has also represented banks and other businesses in general corporate and contractual matters, as well as lease transactions, and has negotiated contracts in connection with construction projects.

He previously was partner in another Long Island law firm and served as an officer in the United States Army Reserve.

He serves on the Board of Directors for the Long Island Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation and served on the Board of Directors for 1 in 9: The Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition. He is currently serving on the 2024 American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Executive Leadership Team. 

Mr. Hoffmann earned Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from New York University and a Juris Doctor from the Albany Law School of Union University, where he served as Associate Editor of the Albany Law Review.

Admitted to practice in New York State, he is currently a member of the Nassau County and  New York State Bar Associations and lectures to trade organizations on a variety of topics including distressed mortgage loans, commercial real estate financing, ESOP financing and revolving credit mortgages.
