Donna R. Arzanipour is an Associate in the Firm’s Real Estate and Land Use and Zoning Practice Groups. She assists clients with a broad range of real estate matters, including the drafting and review of contracts and leases, due diligence, and transactional support for residential and commercial closings. Her practice also includes assisting clients in securing zoning and land-use approvals, including area variances, special permits, and site plan approvals before municipal boards, and working with clients and consultants to navigate zoning applications for residential and commercial projects.
Ms. Arzanipour earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where she graduated in the top four percent of her class. During law school, she served as an Issue Editor of the Touro Law Review and was an Honors Program Scholar. She received multiple academic distinctions, including CALI Awards for Academic Excellence in Legal Process I and Entrepreneurship and the Law, and was consistently named to the Dean’s List. Ms. Arzanipour was also President of the Real Estate Law Society and a Student Ambassador.
While in law school, Ms. Arzanipour gained extensive legal experience through clerkships and internships in both private practice and the federal judiciary. Most recently, she served as a Law Clerk at a respected firm, where she assisted with legal research and drafting across a variety of practice areas, including real estate, commercial transactions, construction, zoning, and bankruptcy. Her experience included drafting real estate contracts and closing statements, reviewing discovery materials and commercial leases, and observing residential and mortgage closings.
Ms. Arzanipour also participated in Touro Law Center’s Bankruptcy and Mortgage Foreclosure Clinic, where she assisted clients through the bankruptcy process, conducted client interviews, and drafted petitions. Earlier, she served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable James M. Wicks of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, assisting with pre-trial litigation matters and legal research.
Prior to law school, Ms. Arzanipour earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and Mathematics from Stony Brook University.
