This practice group concentrates in administrative and judicial real estate tax review proceedings. Our attorneys have successfully obtained over a billion of dollars in real estate tax refunds for the firm’s commercial, industrial and residential clients. In the area of Eminent Domain law, our attorneys have distinguished themselves by trying noteworthy condemnation proceedings in the New York State Supreme Court, Court of Claims, and United States District Courts in New York and in other states. Over the years, we have represented clients in the largest governmental appropriations in New York including the Times Square Development project, New York Stock Exchange project, and the United States Postal Service project on Third Avenue in Manhattan. In every case, our clients recovered condemnation awards substantially in excess of the condemnors’ initial offers of settlement.
